CHILDREN'S CLASSES

Due to COVID - we're now on Zoom!

Each week we create a space for children between the ages of 5 -11 to investigate virtues, the qualities of our hearts and gems of our characters, and how to apply them through a range of activities including: songs, quotations, story telling, cooperative games and the arts.

Lessons are inspired by the Ruhi Institute curriculum and Bahá'í Teachings.

All Zoom classes will be protected by a password.

The teachers also have their Working with Children's Check and Child Protection Training.

JOIN US ON WEDNESDAYS FROM 3:30PM - 4:30PM

MORE ABOUT CHILDREN'S CLASSES

We believe that the development of moral capacities in our children is of fundamental importance not only to their own happiness but also to the advancement of humanity as a whole.

Providing spiritual education for children has long been an element of the culture of the Baháʼí community. We hold weekly children’s classes in Hobsons Bay that are open to all children, subject to parental approval.

Baháʼí children’s classes aim to nurture the hearts and minds of children. The emphasis is on helping children learn to reflect on and apply spiritual principles, such as love, unity and justice, to their own lives and to the lives of those around them.

Based on the teachings of Baha’u’llah, the Founder of the Baháʼí Faith, the classes seek to inspire in children a love of God and His Messengers, and of humanity in all its diversity.

The classes include short lessons, activities to build friendship, games, stories, art and music.
